CoreScape is operations software for companies that run field crews: landscape construction, grounds and snow, and tree care. It began as the system for VS Landscape, an Ontario landscape construction and grounds company.

The goal was to replace the paper, spreadsheets and separate apps the office and the crews were juggling with one system, and then offer it to other companies that work the same way.

We designed, built and branded CoreScape as three apps that share one set of people, logins and timesheets. Key elements include:

• Three apps, one company: TerraCore for construction projects and estimates, GroundCore for grounds and snow routes, and ArborCore for tree care. License one, or run them together.

• Built for the truck: A crew app with the day's route in order, one button per step, checklists and photos. GroundCore stops can be finished offline.

• Routes on real roads: GroundCore orders stops by real road drive time and splits them across up to three crews.

• From estimate to invoice: Estimates built from a catalog and signed online by the client, then job costing, invoicing and a daily report of every stop.

• One screen for the owner: Money, margin and who is on the clock, across every app the company runs.

The result is the system VS Landscape runs its day on, now licensed to other landscape, grounds and tree companies.
