Work5 is shop-management software for vehicle wrap and sign shops. It started inside VSF Wrap in Ottawa, where the shop was running its jobs on whiteboards, spreadsheets and group chats and needed one place for all of it.

Together with VSF Wrap, we set out to build that place as a product of its own: one app for the office, the shop floor and the customer, that other wrap shops could run on too.

We designed, built and branded Work5 as a company OS for a wrap shop, from the first lead to the final payment. Key elements include:

• Jobs and calendar: Every job from quote to install, with prep and install dates, bays and the assigned team, on one shared project calendar.

• Quotes, invoices and payments: Quotes customers approve from their phone, invoices and payments, connected to QuickBooks and Stripe.

• Proofs and job tracking: Design proofs customers comment on and approve online, and a link that shows them where their job stands.

• Time tracking and the shop TV: Clock-in and payroll reports for the crew, and a shop screen with live job statuses.

• Brand and website: The Work5 name, logo and the marketing site at getwork5.app.

The result is the software VSF Wrap runs on every day, now opening to other wrap shops.
